Volunteering
Often the only way to get career-related work experience is to work on a voluntary basis.
The University's Community Bridge Project matches students with volunteering opportunities in local organisations, charities and community groups, offering you the chance to gain valuable work-related skills, along with a certified award.
The opportunities on offer have included working with children or the elderly, conservation work and sporting activities.
